Having bridal portraits taken before your wedding is not necessary, but over the years, I've learned that it does relieve some stress and time on your wedding day. With a bridal session, you'll have the opportunity to ensure that you love your hair and makeup, are satisfied with the style of your bouquet, get more comfortable with your wedding venue, and finalize your "bridal look." With this 1-hour session, we will capture you and your wardrobe and accessory details, giving us more time on your wedding day to focus on the other important details of your big day.

I suggest your bridal portraits be taken at your venue so your photos feel like they were taken on your wedding day. In my experience, most venues will give you access to the space on a weekday when there are no events scheduled.
The best time to take bridal portraits is 4-6 weeks before your wedding after you have picked up your dress after your final fitting. With this timeline, I can get photos back to you for wedding day use and allows ample time to make any hair, makeup, or accessory changes, if needed.

04. Can I request a specific location for my bridal session?
The bridal session is an additional session to the KSP wedding photograph experience. If you are interested in booking a bridal session for more photos in your wedding dress, please reach out to Kate as soon as possible for more information or to schedule!
03. Are there any additional fees associated with the bridal session?
We will make sure to set the dress down lightly on the ground, use locations that are clean or free of debris and if there is a potential for bad weather we will most likely reschedule! There is always the option to use my natural light studio or another indoor location as well!
02. How can I make sure my dress doesn't get dirty?
Besides the basics listed above, I would also consider bringing a floral bouquet!
